Liz Frescoln is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) specializing in the treatment of Eating Disorders – but also focused on all underlying issues, such as: Anxiety, Depression, and past Trauma. Working with children, adolescents, and adults, she utilizes individual, group, and family therapies – including the Maudsley Model, also called Family Based Therapy (FBT). Liz also facilitates eating disorder recovery Group Therapy for the clients of CEDM.
Liz’s group topics have included: Stress Management, Mindful Eating, Parent & Spouse Support, Surviving High School, Self Esteem, Mindful Movement, Beyond Recovery, and Relapse Prevention. Before joining CEDM in June 2003, Liz was a therapist at The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester (NH), with experience in Emergency Services and the Partial Hospitalization Program. Liz received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Mount Holyoke College and her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of New Hampshire.
